The clouds are running across the lawn... and they're getting away.
The appearance of the morning star just before sunrise indicates that it is leading the souls of the dead into the afterlife usually through the underworld. They are gathered together and drawn up into the sky (which seems to be a rather strange way to get to the underworld). Twilight has also become a part of the legend of vampires who somehow fear the coming of the light yet revel again in the shadows of the evening. Round where I live, every time I've been out photographing at sunrise or sunset there seems to be an overwhelming absence of people and wildlife. It's a bit like the quiet at a full solar eclipse. Perhaps they are fearing being snatched by the unseen powers. Anyway as I took this shot at the break of day it occurred to me that the clouds looked like a bunch of ghosts streaming out from the trees. Who knows.
