Another view of the mysteriously hidden forest I photographed in my Alchemy panorama. In fact this particular scene was directly behind me at the time.
The season is still performing its magic.
The trees were gigantic and positioned at the top of a steep rise. To shoot this, the camera was pointed almost vertically upwards, as far back as the tripod head would allow. The relatively long exposure was required to handle the back-lighting from the direct sunlight. Next time I try anything like this I'd like to have spikes on my tripod ...and boots.
