Artist's Comments

Nature speaks a language that can be understood by everyone - even though it is not easily recognized as such. Sometimes it's loud and dramatic but the rest of the time it can be so soft and quiet that it could go by unnoticed, as if carried away by the wind. Yet the message is always the same. Who is listening?

Location:
In the forest where I live,
Hochwald / Naturpark Saar-Hunsrück, Germany.

I have returned to this location many times and in fact there are a number of pictures in my gallery shot within 100 meters or so of this particular place (The Darkness The Lightness, Mysterious Ways, Solar System etc and many more...). It's a rather wonderful place and each time I pay it a visit, there's always something else that catches my eye.

Tech Details:
Canon EOS 40D + Sigma 10-20 @ 10mm
Manfrotto 190CLB Tripod / 460MG Head
Manual Exposure ISO 100: 1/10sec @ f11
