It's quite amazing how localised weather can be. This awesome looking cloud was moving at high speed up from the valley below where the rain was already falling at its heaviest. Up on the hill there was the brightest sunshine!
The main city from my area is down there in that valley ...it's a very small city  TECH NOTE: The color was achieved by setting the camera's White Balance to 10000K which would normally only be used for full shade (very blue light). This forced the shadows to look 'normal' while the sunny areas became much warmer. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
