This is at the edge of a wetland biotope in the nature reserve near where I live. It's the part accessible to humans, and acts as a safe haven for the local wildlife to encourage them to multiply and eventually take over the area by outnumbering the humans. The ducks are already well on the way to achieving that. They were milling round my feet by the dozens, though none of them made it into the picture because they are very camera shy (or cleverly playing games with me).

Perhaps one day when the environment is fully restored, the wolves will awaken.

amen I agree oneday my man will live in peace with natur.
Some say that mybe just a dreem but I still have faith.

you take such amazing pictures, at first i didn't even beleive they were photographs, and you had some wicked drawing talent.

I love the vibrant colors in this shot, and the crispness of the water. the clearness of of the sky, and the ability to see the details in the clouds way off in the distance is amazing. :) Did you use a flash to illuminate the foreground without blowing your highlights, or was that the effect of the filter? I unfortunately do not have much direct experience with polarizing filters only academic
