Alchemy ...the pursuit of turning base metals into gold ...just like the golden tones of autumn.

This was in a stretch of forest I found the other day which looked for all the world like it had no access to it. With a bit more persistence I eventually found a narrow cow track which led around the edge of it between a farm and a field. The forest looked like it had been completely forgotten by the whole world.

Note on the panorama format: The picture was constructed from four separate vertical images stitched together in PS/CS2.

Alchemy by =rad-ix Beautiful autumn colors of gold and red help accentuate the natural bend in the earth (I'm a sucker for autumn). Has good room on top and below for icons, and not many wide screen walls get attention they way they deserve. ( Suggested by `Aeires and Featured by $zilla774 )

Even having confessed to the four separate images, I cannot see the seams = excellent work.

The colours are magnificent, the panorama construction apparently worked very well, at least I can't see any traces of the stitching.
There doesn't seem to be a download option (anymore)?
